Technology Tutorials Hey everyone! Here is a page that I have created with some fun and new Web 2.0 sites you can use to create some pretty amazing things. I have linked all the names of the sites so you can just click those and it will take you directly to the website. Another thing that I have done is either posted examples of student made work and/or tutorial videos in which you can view as many times as you need in order to teach yourself how to effectively use each website. First off you are going to want to click Create in the top right section of the screen.2. To Add words you click on Load in the left column and add your words in list form3. The Colour Button on the left changes the order of the already choosen colour theme4. Theme allows you to change the colour of your words and background5. Font allows you to change the font of your words in your tagxedo6. Orientation changes the way your words are seen, either Horizontal, vertical or any way7. Layout changes the shape of your creation8.All changes everything, font, colour, orientation etc...9. Shape allows you to change the shape using preset or customized shapes10. History shows you what you have previously done to that tagxedo11. word/layout options gives you and advanced selection of changing things12. Save share and print gives you the options to save to your computer, Print out a hard copy, and it allows you to share on other websites such as facebook, twitter etc... As well when you add your tagxedo HTML to say a wiki page it will allow you to click on each word and automatically brings you to google with your specific word.

Prezi is also one big wall that you edit on and where you can add text or information anywhere. You can add pictures and videos, along with the usual text. It's great for group projects because more than one person can edit it at one time, and you can customize the colours and fonts to make it completely your own. Prezi allows you to create a presentation that looks neat and professional, or colourful and fun. Signing up is also very easy, you only have to enter your first and last name and your email, along with a password. Getting started is just as easy, all you have to do is click "New Prezi", and it will bring you to a page to create your Prezi! On this page you can insert any file or YouTube URLs, you can create shapes with your mouse, frame text or pictures, create a path for your presentation to follow, or even customize the fonts and colours in your presentation. This is an especially great tool for students because it is so easy to use. The tools are simple to understand and you can create just what you were imagining without much effort. Its a great way to create a school project in any subject quickly and neatly. Prezi is a great way to make a project that you want to hand in or to use in a presentation. Teachers would also find this helpful because they can implement it in the class room. It could be a great way to create or teach a lesson for your students, because instead of just text and a few pictures, you could include video and audio. This is great for students that are visual learners.

Currently this social network has hundreds of thousands registered users. The majority of the Glogster community is teenagers. It is definitely an interesting and different way to create posters, and they do not require paper or glue. When you are using glogster you can upload video, pictures, Mp3 and text which create a fun new way to use media. When you are working with glogster there may be a few problems with uploading videos; YouTube videos do not work, so it would be a good thing to go to a clip converter on the internet and download the video into your computer then upload it onto the glog.This is for if your teacher sets up a class education account This is for you if you already have a glogster account

The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

Storybird is a service that uses collaborative storytelling to connect kids and families. Two (or more) people create a Storybird in a round robin fashion by writing their own text and inserting pictures. They then have the option of sharing their Storybird privately or publicly on the network. The final product can be printed, watched on screen, played with like a toy, or shared through a worldwide library.
